What's the difference between golden and purple colored sea moss?
In most instances, purple sea moss can be described as having more anti-inflammatory properties. It's taste is a bit more "ocean" like than that of it's golden colored counterpart.
How long before my order arrives?
Every order is made to order. Sea moss production involves a soaking process that takes between 24-36 hours. Our goal is to send out orders every Monday and Wednesday so that you all are able to receive it before the weekend.
What should I do when I unpack my order?
Before shipping, your sea moss gel is frozen and shipped with ice packs to ensure it travels in a cool environment. Once it arrives, unbox it and place it in the refrigerator if you wish to consume immediately. If you intend on holding on to your order for a later consumption date, you may freeze for up to 3 months.
How long does the sea moss gel last? How do I know when it's "going bad"?
If refrigerated after every use, your sea moss gel should last anywhere between 3-4 weeks.
An obvious sign that your sea moss gel has went past its expiration is mold. This typically doesn't happen until you've reached over 6 weeks of letting it sit idle. Otherwise a breakdown in consistency or bitter taste signifies you might be ready to reorder.
